Turkish belly dancing Star With six years I took ballet lessons for the first time. After several years the ballet was too monotonous for me. I felt the burning desire for the rhythmic sounds of oriental music. When I was ten years old I have finally started to practice belly dancing and to learn it professionally. Any unusual movement on the dance floor for me was a rediscovery of my body. My career as a professional belly dancer began in 1993. At this time I began world wide to occur as a belly dancer at different occasions and events. I was hired for national and international festivals and events.
